The HKU Master of Social Sciences (Marriage and Family Therapy) Alumni Association was established in 2006 by our first batch of graduates.
Objective
- To maintain and promote networking and friendship amongst its members
- To organize educational, training, recreational, social, cultural and community services activities for members of the Association
- To initiate and assist the furthering of the interests and professionalism amongst its members
- To inform members of the Association of the current affairs of Master of Social Sciences in Marriage and Family Therapy
- To provide guidance in study to students of the Master of Social Sciences in Marriage and Family Therapy
Types of Membership
Ordinary Membership: open to all Master of Social Sciences in Marriage and Family Therapy Graduates upon payment of an Entrance Fee payable by an Ordinary Member and the approval of the membership application by the Executive Committee
Student Membership: open to students of the Master of Social Sciences in Marriage and Family Therapy program upon payment of an Entrance Fee payable by a Student Member and the approval of the membership application by the Executive Committee
Associated Membership: open to students of the Master of Social Sciences in Marriage and Family Therapy and relevant master program upon payment of an Entrance Fee and the approval of the membership application by the Executive Committee
Application for Membership
Application for Ordinary Membership and Student Membership shall be made on the prescribed Application Form signed by the applicant and delivered to the Honorary Secretary for acceptance by the Executive Committee at a meeting. Applicants shall be notified by the Honorary Secretary of the resolution of the Executive Committee in respect of their applications as soon as possible after the meeting. The Executive Committee shall have the rights to refuse any application without revealing the reason.
